Q:Who is allowed to smoke cannabis?
A:You have to be minimum 20 years old, not pregnant or not breast feeding.

A:Yes, both possession and smoking is legal in Thailand.

Q:Can I smoke anywhere I want?
A:No, you are not allowed to smoke cannabis so it becomes disturbing for others. That is illegal and is punished with fines or jail. Please be respectful and smoke in private at home or at the far end of the beach.

Q:Where can I buy cannabis?
A:To sell cannabis you need a license and therefore we only recommend to buy cannabis from serious stores you can find on Google Maps or online shops like gushlabs.shop.

Q:Is it safe to smoke cannabis?
A:This is always debatable on who you ask. Nobody have died of smoking cannabis, but science says that people under 25 should stay away since it can hinder brain development. Consistent usage can make you slow thinking and has other negative impacts.

Q:How long does cannabis to take effect?
A:If you are smoking marijuana, you may feel its effects within 10 minutes to half an hour. However, if you are consuming marijuana, you need to wait at least 30 minutes (up to two hours) to feel its effects.

Q:Which cannabis should I buy?
A:We have a guide on choosing the type of cannabis here. However, whats worth pointing out is that the premium cannabis in can be really strong. Don’t go for the highest THC strain you can find, it will lock you in the couch or make your heart race. Even a 5% THC strain will make you giggly and have a great relaxing time. Once you have a bit more resistance you can up the THC levels.

A:No. Hash, dab, cannabis concentrates, THC oil and vape oil is still illegal in Thailand.

Q:What are cannabinoids?
A:Cannabinoids are the chemical compounds secreted by cannabis flowers. There are also compounds called terpenes – chemical compounds that give cannabis its unique aroma. The concentrations and combinations of the cannabinoids and terpenes vary from plant to plant and among the different strains of cannabis. When inhaled, consumed as an edible, or used on the skin as a topical preparation, the cannabinoids bind to cannabinoid docking sites or receptors in the human body and alter nerve transmission in the brain.
